Can I use Planetz without Manta?
Yes. Planetz Agent Deck runs as a desktop app on its own—you approve and operate from the screen. Manta is optional hardware for safer, more ambient control.
Why use edge AI (Ollama)?
Privacy and security: run inference on your machine without sending source code or internal docs to external APIs. You can keep working offline (e.g. airplane mode) where local models allow.
Is there a discount for hardware owners?
Yes. Manta buyers get Planetz Cloud for $30/mo (regular $40/mo).
What does the Manta LCD show?
Short status text such as IDLE, LISTENING, PROCESSING..., APPROVE?, ERROR—plus ambient light for peripheral awareness.
How do local Deck and Cloud relate?
They share the same deck UX and workflows. Teams can start locally and move workspaces to Cloud without relearning the product.
